We thought it was time for something new, fresh and crisp. So, here we go… Same name Endurance Sports Travel, now at a new URL gowithest.com. The face is different, but our goal remains the same: to provide you with the best travel and race experience.

Besides information about upcoming trips, the new site also offers valuable tips from EST owner Ken Glah about every destination we offer. Ken’s experience is tremendous, and he is more than happy to share his vast knowledge with you.

Borneo Orangutan Survival Australia

Saving orangutans is an endurance effort. Travel with us to help save them!

From 2020 onward, one of our missions is to help one of our closest living relatives, the orangutans. They share 97% of our DNA. Sadly, these amazingly beautiful great apes are on the edge of extinction due to habit loss and hunting.

Luckily, there are organizations like Borneo Orangutan Survival Australia (BOSA). BOSA is a sister organization of the Borneo Orangutan Survival (BOS) Foundation in Indonesia. Their dedicated staff – veterinarians, technicians and babysitters – rescues injured and/or orphaned orangutans, helps them to recover and teaches them everything they need to know to become wild orangutans again. The ultimate goals are to return them to the forest where they belong and to protect as much of their habitat as possible.

In 2020 Endurance Sports Travel will donate $5 US-Dollar from each of our clients’ payments to Borneo Orangutan Survival Australia. Of course, this is just a small part of the financial support that is needed to help these critically endangered great apes. That is why we encourage you to check out BOSA’s website and have a look at the amazing work this organization supports. Thank you for helping us help them!

Fun and successful trip to IRONMAN Cozumel

EST IRONMAN Cozumel Clients

We had a great mix of clients join us in November 2019 for our 11th trip to IRONMAN Cozumel, in Mexico. We have been bringing athletes and their supporters to Cozumel since the inaugural event in 2009.  It is a beautiful race with great local support, and also a wonderful way for our clients and ourselves to end the triathlon season in the Northern Hemisphere.

The 2019 race started on the cooler side, but as the day progressed and the temperature increased, it ended up being quite challenging. Our 40+ athletes spanned a good portion of the age-groups, and most of them finished strong. Endurance Sports Travel is happy to have hosted and taken care of 7 podium finishers, 6 of them being Kona qualifiers, with 4 of them being IRONMAN Cozumel age-group winners.

Congratulations to all of our athletes and all of those that crossed the IRONMAN Cozumel finish line.

Mikael Nelker – Sweden – 3rd – M40-44
Andrew Loeb – United States – 1st – M70-74
Dexter Yeats – United States – 1st – F70-74
Linda Blakely – United Kingdom – 2nd – F45-49
Owen Martin – United Kingdom – 1st – M45-49
Susan Moote – Canada – 2nd – F55-59
Becky Paige – United States – 1st – F45-49

We look forward to going back to Cozumel for our 12th time in 2020. We will again offer discounted race entries. Please consider Endurance Sports Travel when booking your triathlon travel for IRONMAN Cozumel.
